St Andrew’s Church, Halstead
LED Lighting Upgrade
We carried out an exterior LED lighting upgrade at St Andrew’s Church in Halstead, replacing the existing halogen floodlights with a more energy-efficient, reliable and visually impactful lighting solution.
The old halogen floodlights were replaced with 150-watt LED floodlights, offering brighter illumination while significantly reducing energy consumption. The system is controlled via a photocell, ensuring the lights activate automatically when natural light drops below the set level, and a timer, allowing them to operate only during specified hours. This dual-control system provides optimal lighting coverage in the evening while minimising unnecessary energy use.
This upgrade enhances the safety and visibility of the church grounds and also delivers a modern, low-maintenance lighting solution that complements the historic building’s exterior.
Eden Tribe Young People’s Home
Security System Installation
For Eden Tribe Young People’s Home, we installed a comprehensive Hikvision security system to ensure full protection and controlled access throughout the facility. The system includes 8 security cameras, with 2 external colour-view cameras that provide high-definition, full-colour images even in low-light conditions, enhancing visibility and safety at all times.
We also installed a door entry system featuring both code and fob access, complemented by an indoor door station allowing staff to answer calls and remotely unlock doors securely. All devices are integrated into the Hikvision app, providing easy monitoring and remote management.
We also replaced the existing dual RCD consumer unit with a brand-new 20-way RCBO consumer unit, providing improved circuit protection, modern safety standards, and greater reliability for the property’s electrical systems. This upgrade ensures that both staff and residents are supported by a safe, compliant, and robust electrical infrastructure, alongside the enhanced security measures.
Eden Nightclub & Bar
Commercial Electrical Installation
Transforming an existing pub-style building into a nightclub and bar requires careful electrical planning to support lighting, power demands, entertainment equipment and security. We completed electrical installation work for Eden Nightclub & Bar, helping to prepare the premises for its new use as an entertainment venue.
The project included installing new LED lighting to support the atmosphere and function of the venue, alongside essential power supplies for key operational areas such as the bar and DJ booth.
We also installed CCTV cameras to cover important areas throughout the premises. This included cameras positioned around the bar and dance floor, as well as external cameras covering smoking and queuing areas.
Three-Bedroom Property
Full Electrical Rewire
Older electrical wiring can deteriorate over time or become unsuitable for a property’s current use and requirements. A full rewire provides an opportunity to replace existing cables and establish a modern electrical installation designed around the property’s needs.
We carried out full rewiring projects for a three-bedroom home. Our approach included the key stages of the rewire, from removing and replacing existing cabling to installing accessories, testing the completed circuits and verifying the installation.
The work includes channelling, first fixing, second fixing and electrical testing. With installation complete, the relevant inspection and testing procedures were carried out in accordance with applicable BS 7671 Wiring Regulations requirements.
